The TEC-Institut für technische Innovationen (Institut for Technical Innovations) is dedicated to a wide range of research projects.  The spectrum of research includes, among others, the photovoltaic technology and the important area of led lighting engineering.

In the field of photovoltaics, TEC is exploring the most effective and cleanest utilization of solar energy. Thus, a measurement technology especially for photovoltaic is necessary, such as for example various measurement equipment for capturing environmental data.
